The Arizona Fall League is a tremendous place for baseball's top prospects to continue their development.

This fall will be the 34th year of the AFL, with three games scheduled for Saturday's season opener.

According to MLB.com, 14 of MLB Pipeline's top 100 prospects are on this year's rosters.

The six teams are the Glendale Desert Dogs (Braves, Dodgers, Pirates, Marlins, White Sox), Mesa Solar Sox (Angels, Athletics, Blue Jays, Cubs, Red Sox), Peoria Javelinas (Cardinals, Mariners, Orioles, Padres, Reds), Salt River Rafters (D-Backs, Nationals, Rockies, Twins, Yankees), Scottsdale Scorpions (Astros, Brewers, Giants, Rays, Tigers), and Surprise Saguaros (Guardians, Mets, Phillies, Rangers, Royals).

Before the 2026 AFL season kicks off, here are five players to keep an eye on, plus some honorable mentions.

1. SS Dax Kilby, Yankees - Kilby was out for most of the season with a hamstring injury but made a solid first impression at Single-A Tampa, walking (39) more than he struck out (31) with four home runs and 12 stolen bases in 32 games. The 2025 first-round pick turns 20 next month and has an MLB ETA of 2028.

2. OF Zyhir Hope, Tigers - Hope instantly became the Tigers' No. 1 prospect when he was one of the three players in the trade for Tarik Skubal with the Dodgers. He hit .287/.367/.513 with 29 homers and 26 steals in 124 games at Double-A. Hope's MLB ETA is 2027.

3. SS Arjun Nimmala, Angels - Nimmala was one of the players traded from the Blue Jays to the Angels in the deal for right-hander Jose Soriano. Following the trade, he hit eight homers and posted a .966 OPS in 27 games at Double-A Rocket City. The 20-year-old, who would be the first player of Indian descent to reach the Majors, has an MLB ETA of 2028.

4. SS Sebastian Walcott, Rangers - Walcott was limited to just 41 minor league games due to internal brace surgery in 2025. But MLB's No. 9-ranked prospect made a loud impact, hitting 10 homers and 14 doubles while posting a .991 OPS across three levels (37 games at Double-A Frisco). This could be the shortstop or third baseman of the future for the Rangers, as Walcott's MLB ETA is 2027.

5. RHP Jarlin Susana, Nationals - Susana can hit 103 mph on the radar gun and features a mid-80s slider. At 6-foot-6, 235, he is a towering figure on the mound. The 22-year-old only threw 22 1/3 innings in 2026 due to lat surgery, striking out 21 batters in four starts at Double-A. Susan's MLB ETA is 2027.
