Three of the four major winter leagues are underway, with Puerto Rico's LBPRC beginning its season on Wednesday.
Twenty-four top prospects ranked by MLB Pipeline are playing winter ball so far this season, scattered across the leagues in the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, and Mexico.
Here's a look at how they've performed thus far in the 2026-27 winter ball season.
LIDOM
Leones del Escogido
John Gil, SS - The Atlanta Braves' No. 6 prospect has played six games for Escogido, going 2-for-14 with a walk and a double in limited action with the Leones early on.
Carlos Jimenez, OF - The Seattle Mariners No. 25 prospect went 0-for-4 in the only game he's played for Escogido thus far this season.
Jason Schiavone, C - The Houston Astros No. 6 prospect is 4-for-22 in six games with two doubles.
Tigres del Licey
Jesus Made, SS - The Milwaukee Brewers No. 1 prospect and No. 1 prospect overall made a big first impression, homering in his first at-bat for Licey. He's played 11 of the Tigres 13 games thus far this season, batting .318/.423/.409 with seven RBIs in 44 at-bats.

Gigantes del Cibao
Roldy Brito, IF/OF - The Colorado Rockies No. 2 prospect and No. 52 prospect overall is 8-for-30 in 11 games with a double and three runs scored.
Jefferson Rojas, IF - The New York Mets No. 1 prospect and No. 68 prospect overall has seven hits, two of which are doubles and two more of which are homers, in nine games thus far. He's struck out three times and walked twice in 31 plate appearances.
Hendry Mendez, OF - It's been a rough start to the winter ball season for the Minnesota Twins No. 8 prospect, who is 1-for-13 with a double in four games thus far.
Carlos Jorge, IF/OF - The Cincinnati Reds No. 15 prospect has two homers and eight hits in 32 at-bats, but his strikeout rate - he's fanned 12 times in 36 plate appearances - is eye-catching in a bad way.
Yunior Tur, P - The Athletics No. 20 prospect allowed three runs on three hits in 4 2/3 innings over five appearances so far this season. He's walked five of 23 batters he's faced while striking out just one, so command is obviously a problem.
Estrellas Orientales
Miguel Bleis, OF - The No. 28 prospect of the Boston Red Sox is 1-for-10 with three runs scored in seven games with five strikeouts.
Leo Bernal, C - The St. Louis Cardinals No. 4 prospect and No. 80 prospect overall has flashed some power, clubbing three homers and driving in seven runs, but he's also 6-for-34 with 11 strikeouts and five walks in 34 at-bats. He handled former Cy Young Award winner Trevor Bauer's first start behind the plate, and has two errors, both of which came on throws.
