Zac Veen put together a solid 2026 season at the Triple-A level in the Colorado Rockies' farm system.

In 392 at-bats with the Albuquerque Isotopes, he had a .327 batting average and a 1.037 OPS. The 24-year-old also had 33 doubles, 24 home runs, 87 RBIs, and 18 stolen bases.

This season, Veen showed why he is still a top-ten prospect in the Rockies' farm system. According to MLB Pipeline, he is ranked seventh overall in the Colorado system.

Veen called up to Colorado; 2025 and 2026 stats with the Rockies

On August 11, the Colorado Rockies recalled Veen. He played his first game at the Major League level in 2026 against the Arizona Diamondbacks on August 12.

In that game, Veen hit a two-run home run in the fourth inning. This extended Colorado's lead over Arizona to 6-1. The Rockies held on for a 6-4 win over the Diamondbacks at Chase Field.

The fourth-inning home run was also Veen's first MLB hit this season.

Veen's first game with Colorado in the 2026 season comes after he spent some time playing for the Rockies in 2025.

In the 2025 MLB season, he had four hits in 34 total at-bats. The outfielder had his first Major League home run that season on April 20 in a 3-2 loss for the Rockies against the Washington Nationals.

Remaining a viable prospect for Colorado

After spending the majority of the 2026 baseball season in the minor leagues and hitting a home run in his MLB season debut, Veen showed that he is still a viable prospect for Colorado.

He has shown that he is a solid player at the Triple-A level, and his career is beginning to boil down to whether or not he can put it together at the MLB level.

This 2026 stint with the Rockies as the MLB season approaches its conclusion will be a big one for Veen.
