The MLB Award Season is in full swing, and seven international players took home Gold Glove Awards.

In the American League, only three international players won Gold Glove Awards: Ceddanne Rafaela, Wilyer Abreu and Ezequiel Duran.

Rafaela and Abreu both play for the Boston Red Sox and have each already won a Gold Glove Award. This is Rafaela's second time winning and Abreu's third. Both played in the World Baseball Classic, with Rafaela representing the Netherlands and Abreu representing Venezuela.

Duran had never won a Gold Glove before and took home the utility Gold Glove Award this year.

In the National League, Gabriel Moreno, Geraldo Perdomo, Jackson Chourio and Mauricio Dubon make up the international players to win Gold Glove Awards.

Moreno won his second Gold Glove Award and joined Joe Mauer as the only other catcher to win a batting title and a Gold Glove in the same season.

His teammate, Perdomo, already had a Silver Slugger and an All-Star selection, but now he can add a Gold Glove to his resume. Like him, Chourio won his first Gold Glove Award as well.

Dubon won his third Gold Glove Award after a stellar season with the Braves. All three of his Gold Glove Awards have come as a utility player, speaking to sustained versatility in the field.

Perdomo played for the Dominican Republic in the World Baseball Classic and Chourio played for Venezuela.

There were also four players who have played on Team USA in the World Baseball Classic to win Gold Glove Awards: Brice Turang, Alex Bregman, Pete Crow-Armstrong and Nolan McLean.

Corbin Carroll also won a Gold Glove Award. He was selected for Team USA this year, but missed the tournament due to injury.
