Randy Arozarena is about as consistent as they come.

The Seattle Mariners left fielder is having another strong season at the plate.

For the sixth consecutive year, the three-time All-Star has hit at least 20 home runs and stolen 20 bases.

Arozarena, 31, is the first Cuba-born player to have accomplished the feat. Overall, he is just the fifth hitter in Major League Baseball history with six such seasons.

Barry Bonds is the all-time leader with nine consecutive seasons. Following MLB's home run king are Bobby Abreu and Bonds' father, Bobby, with seven. Lastly, Hall of Fame center fielder Willie Mays had six straight 20-20 years.

Despite his consistency, Arozarena is yet to enjoy his first 30-30 campaign. Could this be the year? With just 31 games left on Seattle's regular season schedule, the odds are not in his favor.

The 2021 American League Rookie of the Year came oh-so-close in 2025, swiping 31 bags while connecting for a career-high 27 homers.

Arozarena's recent play will help his case during the offseason. He is one of the top impending free agents and could be the best outfielder in a group that includes Seiya Suzuki, Ian Happ, and Trent Grisham.

On Saturday, Arozarena became just the third player in MLB history to hit the first pitch of a game for a leadoff homer, then follow it up with a walk-off dinger in the same contest.

The Mariners remain just three games back of the Houston Astros for first place in the AL West, but it's hard to imagine where they'd be without Arozarena.

The right-handed hitter leads Seattle with 4.4 bWAR and a 140 OPS+, which indicates he's performed 40% better than the league-average hitter at the plate.

As of Monday afternoon, Baseball Reference calculates the Mariners' postseason odds at 19.1%.
