Toros de Tijuana 6, Sultanes de Monterrey 5 (11 Innings) - Monday was another day in the LMB playoffs, and brought another 11-inning game in the Serie Campeonato.

This time, the top-seeded Toros de Tijuana took the win in Game 3 at Walmart Park in Monterrey, getting a sac fly from Jonathan Guzman that scored Edson Garcia with the game-winning run in the top of the 11th. Adbert Adzolay threw a perfect bottom of the 11th to save the win for Tijuana, which now leads the series 2-1.

Monterrey took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the fifth, getting a run when Josh Lester grounded into a double play at short with the bases full, allowing Gustavo Nunez to score and Victor Mendoza to go to third. Mendoza later scored on a wild pitch when Miguel Diaz' 2-0 offering to Maikel Franco was nowhere near the plate.

In the top of the sixth, a double play ball by Tijuana's Justin Turner allowed Isaac Rodriguez to score and cut the Sultanes' lead to 3-2, and an inning later, Tomas Telis tied the game with a solo homer.

Monterrey regained the lead in the bottom of the seventh on an RBI double by VIctor Mendoza that allowed Gustavo Nunez to score, but a ground out to second in the top of the eighth by Wilmer Flores scored two runs when Nunez' throw to first was off the mark, giving Tijuana a 5-4 lead.

A sac fly by Monterrey's Javier Salazar in the ninth tied the game at five apiece.

Tijuana escaped a bases-loaded, one-out jam in the bottom of the 10th when Ramiro Pena lined into a double play.

Monterrey starter Daniel Cruz threw five innings, allowing one run on two hits, walking one and striking out five.
