Pericos de Puebla 8, Diablos Rojos del Mexico 1 - Henry Ramos hit a two-run triple and Lorenzo Cedrola had a pair of RBI singles as the Pericos made short work of the Diablos to win on Saturday night and a take a 3-0 series lead and win their fifth straight playoff game.

Pericos starter Fernando Lozano threw seven scoreless innings, allowing just five hits and striking out two while walking none.

The Diablos got their lone run on a solo homer to left field by Roberto Valenzuela in the top of the eighth.

Diablos pitching coach Brooks Hall started the game for the Reds, lasting three innings and allowing five runs on six hits and a walk.

Down three games to none, the Diablos face elimination tonight at Estadio Hermanos Serdan in Puebla, with Justin Courtney starting for Mexico against Emilio Vargas for Puebla.

Should the Diablos lose, it could be Robinson Cano's final game in professional baseball. The 18-year Major League veteran has played each of the last three seasons for the Diablos, and while the 43-year-old has not revealed plans for the winter, retirement is a possibility for the second baseman.

Guerreros de Oaxaca 12, Olmecas de Tabasco 8 - The Guerreros scored six runs in the bottom of the seventh to come from behind and take Game 3 and a 2-1 series lead from the Olmecas on Saturday night.

Yonathan Daza, Alexi Amarista, Leonel Valera, and Jorge Flores each had two RBIs for Oaxaca, with Flores contributing a two-run double and Daza and Amarista adding RBI singles in the seventh for Oaxaca.

Tabasco got RBI doubles from Seth Beer and Randy Romero, with Romero's second inning two-sacker getting three runs home for the Olmecas.

Game 4 is Sunday at 7 p.m. EDT in Oaxaca City, with Daniel Camarena starting for the Guerreros against Alemao Hernandez for Tabasco.

Sultanes de Monterrey 3, Caliente de Durango 0 - Maikel Franco got the Sultanes on the board with a solo homer in the second, and an RBI single by Yonny Hernandez in the seventh and an RBI double by Josh Lester in the eighth provided insurance as Monterrey blanked Durango to take a 3-1 series lead on Saturday night.

Sultanes starter Daniel Cruz allowed three hits and two walks over six scoreless innings, fanning six, and the bullpen held the shutout over the final three innings.

Durango went 0-for-4 with runners in scoring position and stranded all seven runners who reached base.

Game 4 is tonight at 7 p.m. EDT, with Odrisamer Despaigne starting for Durango against Daniel Mengden for Monterrey.

Toros de Tijuana 4, Charros de Jalisco 2 (Suspended) - Jonathan Guzman hit a three-run double in the sixth, and an RBI single by Tomas Telis scored Guzman before rain suspended the game after six innings on Saturday night.

Jose Herrera hit a solo homer for Jalisco in the second, and Kyle Garlick got a run home in the fourth by hitting into a double play with the bases loaded, though he doesn't get credited with an RBI.

The game will be completed this evening, with Game 5 to follow.

Daniel Martinez will start Game 5 for Tijuana against Manny Barreda for Jalisco.
