Aguilas de Mexicali (7-4) 6, Naranjeros de Hermosillo (8-3) 5 (11 Innings) - Trading punches in extra innings, the Aguilas made the final blow count, with Alex D. Mejia driving in Yadir Drake in the bottom of the 11th to give the Aguilas a series win over the first-place Naranjeros. Phillip Evans drove in two runs for Mexicali, one with an RBI single in the first and another with a solo homer in the eighth. Andres Sosa hit a two-run homer for Hermosillo in the loss.

Venados de Mazatlan (3-7) 5, Charros de Jalisco (6-4) 4 - The Venados scored a pair of runs on a fielding error by Jalisco second baseman Connor Hollis to tie the game, and then a bases-loaded walk issued to Orlando Pina sent the winning run home for the Venados, who improved to 3-7 on the season with the win. Juan Uriarte drove in two for Mazatlan with a double in the second. Reynaldo Rodriguez went 3-for-4 in the loss for Jalisco.

Mayos de Navojoa (3-8) 5, Jaguares de Nayarit (2-9) 0 - Roughly a third of the way through the season's first half, Nayarit manager Luis Carlos Rivera can likely feel his seat in the dugout getting extremely warm. Six Mayos pitchers combined to hold the Jaguares to just four hits in a 5-0 shutout and send Nayarit to the LMP's basement all alone. Jose Gaitan, Marco Chicuate, and Jose Carlos Urena each had RBI singles for Navojoa and Nick Senzel and Carlos De La Cruz each had an RBI double in the win.

Algodoneros de Guasave (8-3) 4, Tomateros de Culiacan (6-5) 2 - An RBI ground out by Albert Lara in the third put Guasave ahead for good as they climbed into a tie for first place with Hermosillo. Starter Saul Vasquez threw five innings for Guasave, allowing two runs on four hits and three walks, striking out three, while Culiacan starter Norge Ruiz threw six innings, allowing three runs on six hits, walking one and striking out four. Luis Verdugo hit a solo homer in the loss for the Tomateros.

Caneros de Los Mochis (4-7) 2, Yaquis de Obregon (6-5) 1 ( 10 Innings) - A 10th sac fly by Randy Romero scored Roberto Urias to give the Caneros an extra-innings win on Sunday and move them into a three-way tie for seventh. Four Los Mochis relievers combined to hold Obregon hitless over the final four innings, taking over after starter Omar Araujo threw six innings, allowing one run on four hits and three walks, striking out four. Obregon's Felipe Gonzalez allowed a run on two hits and two walks over six innings, striking out two.
